I actually have the paint ready to do a scheme like that, just was waiting on a bit warmer day to start painting. Going a bit lighter down low, more of a charcoal/gray. but keeping it a light grey up top and a red stripe between the 2. Looks great, and huge.

Walls look nice. You should look into getting the floors tiled. Some large semi gloss black tiles would really make it look nice.
