Trying to bring you guys a well organized event for the 2010 Camaro Shootout takes a lot of work. OrangeChevyII, LMR, and others have all expressed their interest in waiting until May. Why? TX2K10 Performance Events is going down in March here in Houston. Further the weather will be warmer for the competition. This will also give others a chance to get their 2010's ready for the shootout. We would like to have a few classes for all types of 2010's V6, V8, Auto, MT, Street, Drag Radials...ext....ext.... Also Camaro car show, dyno day, and more.
So let me break it down for you.....
- The race WILL happen!
- $4-$5K pot for unlimited Class
- $100-$200 pots for reg classes.
- Lonestar Motorsports Park.
- May date.
Every **** talker and keyboard ninja with 2010 Camaro needs to start getting their A-Games together. Because in May....it will be time to GO ***** DEEP!

This is not to disrespect anyone , but anytime you start with I'm going to have the fastest whatever, someone will show up and outrun you. I think Orangechevy did a badass job with his car and to date I haven't seen him bitch one time about who's the fastest, the only people that have complained about the LMR car have been 4th gen fbody owners. That's my 2 cents worth anyway.

Compare apples to apples. LMR's car ought to be fast, they have a shop behind it where as OC's car was garage built by him and friends.

It's not comparing anything when you claim fastest 2010 camaro. This all started with OCII claiming to be the fastest and he was for awhile. The lmr car isthe fastest now, did they spend more money? Yes they did. Are they the fastest right now? Yes they are. Will someone outrun them? I really hope so, competition is what it's all about. So relax, it's the Internet.

He will bring it I can guarantee, that. Its just funny to me how a stock motor held onto the record for that long. He was beating all of your asses, with a hell of alot less. The LMR is very very fast and I give them props for what they have accomplished, so don't think I am so kind of *** hole, because I am not.
Im not siding with LMR on this,I mean the car doesnt belong to them, it belongs to a customer, but I warned Steven about getting involved with the internet smack talk and this race. Everyone knows the black made 900hp, its expected to be fast. if the 2 cars ever line up its not like the black car can brag about winning because all the bench racers will say " OCII car has a stock motor". And on the flip side what happens if OCII wins, all the internet warriors will clown the **** out of the LMR car, so for them in my opinion its lose-lose. The only way in most peoples eyes the black car can save face is to go out and run a 8 sec pass. Do anyof you know what it takes to make a 4000lb car run in the 8's.
I look forward to the HPD event taking place and it can all be decided there.
ok so the high dollar shop car with nothing stock about it but the damn shell is being compared to a stock everything but the cam,car? and it ran what a few tenths faster? wow..... now thats something to brag about!
