Nothing wrong with taking a pet loss hard! My dogs are children to me and it's terrible to lose one. My wife and I had the absolute best border collie for about 3.5 years. She started having trouble with her feet and it eventually turned out to be a spinal tumor, which caused complete loss use of all 4 legs and she was hurting really bad. Nothing to do but do for them what's best and let them go to sleep where it doesn't hurt anymore. For the OP, I think your pup had an auto immune disease. My fam had a cocker that had the same thing. Her body was basically rejecting her own red blood cells. Just don't forget about the happy stuff, that's what makes it all worth while.

I got a german shepard name Samantha. She would always be with me drooling in the air with the tops of. She look so cute. Couldn't imagine me driving without her. I feel for you bud.. Pop open a Budweiser and think about the memories..
