S! LS1-Tech Members, Staff, and Guests.
Houston Performance Driving will be hosting a car cruise into the southwestern section of the Houston Metro Area. The HPD Staff would like to encourage everyone to join the cruise. If you have ever been on a HPD cruise, well you know we have fun! The Southwest Cruise should be a great combination of highway and back road driving.
HPD always has the best cruises that are well planed and RICE FREE. Come join the HPD forum for a great time with some very, very, very fast rides.
Southwest Cruise Outline:
- The group will meet up at Hobby-Lobby (Pearland) on 288 South @ 518 West starting at 10AM.
- At 11AM once all drivers are assembled the group will rollout SOUTH on 288 to Lake Jackson.
- The group will pit stop at Buckeeys (The Beaver) for fuel/snacks/restroom.
- The cruise will continue on down 288 SOUTH to 36 NORTH.
- 36 NORTH will link up with 59 NORTH.
- GO 59 NORTH to Highway 6......EXIT Highway 6 and go LEFT under 59 on Hwy 6 to Tilted Kilt for food/drinks/stories. HPD would like to encourage everyone on the cruise to stop and hang out.

- From the HPD Staff: Drivers please keep it safe at all times. Houston Performance Driving cruises are normally large with many high performance cars/trucks/bikes. This is not a race! Be 100% safe at all times. However, this is Houston PERFORMANCE Driving....make a long story short. HOLD ON!
Safety:
- Seat belts.
- Use signals.
- Control your speed!
- Do not drive outside of your ability.
- Control your passengers (their behavior reflects on you)
- No aggressive or unsafe driving.
You guys have put too much $$$ and wrench time into your rides. It only takes one show-off to mess up every one's day. Keep it SAFE!
Question or Concerns:
Please post them or PM xtc4us on the HPD Forum and I will get back with you ASAP.
Note: HPD Staff will do a Pre-Flight check of the route. Route is subject to change so please keep looking at this thread for updates
