Stock for stock, power to power, no there is no comparison. The LS3 makes WAY more power than anything honda has for that price. But with that being said, they are two different breeds of cars. And they both do what they are designed to do very well. Hondas are designed to be quiet, smooth riding vehicles that get good gas mileage and will last a long time. This is what the intent of their cars was when they were designed. It's the guys who get a civic, throw an exhaust and intake on them and think they are god who give them a bad name. If I was out looking for a fairly compact car that would be pretty much dead set reliable, get good gas mileage, and have a decent style to it, I would buy a Honda over a Cobalt any day. Now if I was out looking for a car to make over 400 hp, haul *** in, and have a smooth and fairly luxurious ride, I would buy a Vette. It all comes down to what the consumer wants, and there are a lot more consumers in the world who want a reliable compact over something like a Vette or a new Camaro. That is how they stay in business and do so well, Honda knows what the public wants, and they give it to them. I still don't see how this thread has made it 41 pages...
