Help with cam!!!!

If your car is not mechanically sound 100% why would you even have reason to believe it's the tune?

I know nothing of your car, just stating the obvious.

Idk I was pretty much trying to see if thats what could be making it do that.
Plus some people kept telling me it was the tune because they think SNL is no good, but Im sure its the o2.

Matt at SNL isn't a bad tuner per say. There are better/more experienced in the DFW area though :-)

Sam88gt is very competent IMO

If Matt tuned it and its dying its the tune. He is not very experienced with tuning anything with a cable throttle body.

mine was doing the same, i upped the idle timing and idle airflow. Also set the idle a tad bit higher and it barely surges.. when i say barely i mean 50rpm. Still in the process of tuning it though. I'm a tuning noob i hope i dont destroy ****

Well it doesnt really die anymore like it was. Its like I had to learn how to drive it lol
If I were to stop too fast with the rpms up, then the rpms would bounce up and down and if i didnt give it gas it would die. But sometimes it would catch itself.
I havent really had a problem lately because I know how to work it lol but I still gotta get that o2 replaced and then take it back to matt and have him check it out.

You shouldnt have to touch the gas pedal like that to keep it running. If you have to it is not tuned correctly.

hmm well thats why Im gonna go back and have him fix it...
You tuned my friends silver gto with a ms3 in it not too long ago, I was gonna have you tune mine but I wanted to see what all the fuss was about at SNL.

Yes Jordans car. He is in serious need of some tires!
They have a big following on the GTO board. Those guys should get out more and experience what else is out there.

need to listen to sam he knows what hes talking about. hey sam im gonna need some fine tuning on mine, cause it keep dying on me when i come to a quick stop. let me know when you can come out.

I did while he was still working on cars. Alot of that has stopped.
