Talking 2010 Camaro SS on HRE 565R wheels

The new wheels for our other PlanetLSX.com project Camaro showed up today. Camaro is lowered with KW coil-overs

HRE "565R" wheels, 3-piece forged construction, hidden hardware
New brushed with smoked clearcoat finish from HRE, chrome lips, billet centercap
20x9.5 fronts with Nitto 275 wide INVO tires
20x11.0 rears with Nitto 315 wide INVO tires

Yes, they look good in color too!

Nice clean look. Good choice on tires, too.

I think that is the perfect height on the new Camaro's.

The thing I don't like is that those wheels are very plain. They look almost like 20" deep dish ZR1's. If I was to spend the money on HRE's, I would want something that would be a little less dull.

They don't look bad at all though.

Plain and simple isn't always a bad thing. In 20 years, this 5-spoke wheel will still look good, it is a timeless design. Wheels aren't always about flash and bling, each car owner has a theme or goal in mind when picking wheels.

finally, a simple/clean 5-spoke design w/o rivets, no black, or all that other crap some people think look "kewl" or "hawt" or "trying so hard to be different it looks like complete crap".

the only thing my eye notices is that the spokes seem way to thin in proportion to the bulky body (the b/w side shot of the car shows this clearly). there needs to be more spoke to compliment the body (how much more, not sure. but the eye needs visual weight balance between car and wheel). other than that, great job by HRE.

I absolutely agree. As I said, I think the wheels look great, but PERSONALLY, I would have bought a wheel with a little bit more going on. My opinion doesn't mean anything because I am not the one buying the wheels.

I know of all people, you know that a wheel makes or breaks a car. I just think a different wheel could have made the car a little better.

With all of that being said, I think the car looks great.

I think that is the best wheels scheme i have seen yet. Not too much, just right. I dont think these cars can pull off chrome all the way.

Agreed. Will has been drooling over Fikse FM5 looking wheels for over a decade now. That is one of the main reason he picked these, they are similar in design. I know I would have picked something different for my own car, which I did.

This is one of my favorite rim setups esp on a white car!

Though nothing can beat this one though

I'm a little partial to black cars though!

You just cannot **** with Black on Black scheme, especially the newer rides.
