that's the red one that runs like mid 9's and still knocks down 35+ MPG isn't it?

Quite a few cars run 200 mph on drag wheels with runners...in the 1/4-mile. Top fuel cars clear 300 mph on those tires.

My Viper did 180.8 mph, 5th gear sucks without boost (too low of rpm drop after 4th). Felt like it was running all-motor in 5th.

yes, i know that, but in the mile that's also running a lot longer distance at ridiculous speeds. i'm not saying its unsafe, I know the tires are rated for it, I'm just sayin I would be a little scared, but maybe i'm just a chickenshit

Whats amazing they were running non-rated moped size tires close to 300 mph as recently as the 80's.
