Thanks for the morning laugh!!

I'd get a kimber if price was no issue. For now I've had my sig pro for three years or so and it litterally has never jammed once. I agree with the others here. Don't just listen to what they tell you! Get out there and put your hands on a few.

its kind of big, but out of all mine i like shooting my baby eagle 45 the best. i'm more accurate with it then my sig p220, and it always works. never in the ~1500 rounds i've put through it has it had an issue. i can't say that for my p220. the israeli's can build a pistol, lol

Kimber customs are nice.
1911's are only a pain in the *** to break down the first time you do it. They are just a little different.
The Springfield xd's are nice too.

I really like the jericho 941, its like a baby desert eagle in .45.

My dad bought an Israeli Army Issued Nickel Plated .50 Desert Eagle from his friend a few weeks ago. That thing is wicked. I shot an Armadillo with it from about 12 feet and it exploded into about 4 or 5 little pieces. The casing hit me in the head on the way out too. Two nights later my dad killed 4 wild hogs with it.

nice. i am a fan of S&W, really like the M&P. sure, there are better guns out there, but for a price. not everyone can afford a custom kimber. and that M&P will definitely get the job done.

i've put many rounds through the walther .380 ppk/s. great CC potential, love the trigger pull and the weight. there's a reason why james bond carried a ppk

i was looking for a nice carry gun, then saw mention of a walther and remembered bond carried one, and i didnt wanna get the one from the new Bond, had to have the old-school Roger Moore one
and yeh, i'd love a kimber, but as you said, the price kinda seals that away from many people, including myself...
btw, winger that XDM looks great, only reason i strayed from them was all the safety mechanisms they have. i didnt want my 45 to have anything but the trigger safety, but, thats me

Nice choices. My inlaws used to have a PPK. The .380 ammo seems to be getting easier to find than it was. Its still a bit pricey though, IMO., but if this is a carry pistol and not a range pistol it isn't a huge deal. I've been considering an LCP for a pocket pistol.

Now you need a ruffled shirt, possibly even an odd colored tux, and an Aston to go with the Walther. The liscense to kill would be cool too.

That was it! Isn’t that just the best story? I can't wait to give that as a bed time story to the kids when they are old enough.

Makes me think of Maj. Payne reading "the little engine that could" to the kiddos.

Imagine the .45 cal story as a pop-up book.
