Some prefer to take out 6 speeds and put autos in--> not that you would do that

Good job LMR!

LOL. Now all this thread needs is a comment about the fastest 2010 Camaro. Then it will be set.

So what you really meant to say is, We got this Corvette after the computer mysteriously fried itself at the very first time out to the track where it clicked off a 9 something second pass at over 150mph. You then changed the computer out and re tuned it with your own tune, did you continue using the MAF that was in it or did you have to change it to SD?

The car made 1100hp on the HOB dyno with the catted mid pipe and 2 in 2 out mid car dump through a magnaflow muffler for race track use only, MAF tune, Aeromotive eliminator pump attached to the new HOB fuel system (that kicks *** BTW). Yes it was making more boost, but also wasn't having a problem with it.

So you procceded to hack up the HOB exhaust by taking out the cats and extending the pipes out the back but still utilizing the HOB exhaust parts.

You then called Aeromotive to try and figure out what the hell you were looking at, and ask how could have come up with such a genius intank pump design. At that time you decided to take out the, working well, Eliminator pump and install a Propump. So what you really did was drop the tank and unscrew a pump and then screwed a new pump on and then reinstalled the tank.

Does that pretty much sum up the LMR part of this build?

So HOB installed a 4L80, stock C6 shifter and TCI computer, built the engine with parts from Diamond and manly, built the exhaust, the blower setup, the intercooler setup, built the custom electric water pump system, and then designed and built what can only be described as the coolest ******* fuel system that the Corvette world has ever seen. Yeah I think that about covers the HOB part of this build.

Have a great weekend everybody!

Someone sounds like they got their feelings hurt by a customer choosing another shop.

I'm waiting on Powell to update us on his Porsche before this one gets locked.

I don't work for HOB. I just like the work they do. I have been following this build for a long while now. Did I say anything derogatory about LMR or HOB? Was anything I said untrue?

Okay, sorry then. Sounds like an internet nut-swinger got his feelings hurt that a customer chose another shop.

It happens quite a bit, the pain goes away after a few days.

Replacing a fuel pump tonight that failed. Thought it was a bad tank of gas... Apparently it's a failing Bosch 044.

On a side note I did have lunch with none other than Turbo Rob at Freebirds. Ran into him randomly there.
