LOL to all the people that think 107mph is all it can do on stock tires. They go 111mph bonestock and you think they lost 4 mph with mods? God I hate people that think since its not there brand its crap. I like the 05-09 bodystyle better then the 10-11 body style, But I would take an 11 mustang gt over the new camaro. Duel over head cam FTMFW!

It would seem that some are in a little bit of a tizzy that the entry-level stock GT a high school chick could have will have capability to hang with/beat up on most serious bolt-on 4th gen LS1 cars...not to mention GTO's, LS1 C5's, etc...
It's about time; the LS1s are 13 years old for crying out loud. Don't worry, hopefully Obama Motors will be improving on the 5th gens over the next few years.

I didn't make this post to talk smack or say GM sucks look at the mustang. The purpose was to bring attention your rival and when you line up against one and they run hard, you can now know why. This is an informative thread not a bashing thread.

lol. Us LT1 guys liked to give the ls1 guys **** back them b/c we could tear them up in our H/C/stroker lt1's. Then the aftermarket got good for the ls1's. Something tells me the aftermarket will be good for these 5.0's in a hurry though!

Looks like a respectable car to me, the one they tested there has 3:73's in it
(factory option).That made the time it ran seem a lil more reasonable to me. Bring em on is all I gotta say, I've already got my 6.0L of pure awesome ready and willing.

As if Ford some how needed to make the GT's fast to win the pony car war. I don't know what reality you people have been living in, but there hasn't been a chevy answer to the Cobra since 2003. Just a heads up we are in the 2011 model year, you do the math.
