Thinking about going auto trans.

As the title says I have been thinking about going auto. But I dont know which route to go. So I figured what the hell and see what some of my fellow texans say

Dont know if I want to go 4l60 or th350 or something else?
But what ever I do go I would have to trade for it

You could prob trade for a 4L80e. T400/350s suck ***** on the highway.

How hard is the swap? And the car is a weekend warrior for now and hasnt been driven in quite a while. So I figure something new will make me want to waste gas in it

The only thing holding me back from getting a 4l80 is finding someone whos willing to swap. there a titty bit to expensive for my budget right now

Lol Lets not let this turn into a classified thread. But for weekend and track use I would probably like to go th350 or 400. is a different PCM or driveshaft needed?
