If the system is really worth $2500, you can surely sell it for $250 with the same sales "techniques"! Sounds like used car sales men out of work to me or maybe they were from Conn's?

Seriously, it's sad you had to experience that but I'm glad it turned out like it did. No one got hurt.

360 lbs, but it was two guys. That gives you 2 guys @ 180lbs each. Daniel weights in at 160, so according to my calculations each guy must have weighed 20lbs. I think I could have taken them.

Thank you Louisiana Public School System!

sux that this happened. but hopefully it opened your eyes. i have had some of the strangest things happen to me and always seam to be some were at the wrong time.

My only advice to everyone and i preach this to everyone i know is get your CHL if you don't have it. If you do have it carry 99% of the time. I dont say 100% because it is impossible for some to carry at work legally and screw the company policy i would rather be alive and looking for a new job if something happened. one of the biggest mistakes people make is that they have a pistol but leave it in their console. When you encounter a situation you do not have time and probably will not be able to get to it as you probably figured out.

I don't take my pistol off my waist till i am going to take a shower to go to bed hell i even mow my and such.

We know you have money????

I would be contacting the guy you just sold the gun to.... sounds like a set up.

May sound a little 'grassy knoll' but I'm not really a trusting person when it comes to deals too good to be true.

I have had this offer a few times- earliest was in '95 in Northern VA- scams are all over.

Ain't nobody "telling me" I know you got money. I've had people do that to me, but never get pushy about it. I can't believe they would do this type of extortion in broad daylight.

Well glad you got out unharmed.

Ive had these same guys approach me in an HEB parking lot a while back, they do get pushy. After telling them no I dont know how many times, I finally started yelling at them in the lot if they were hard of hearing, and suggested that they leave before thing start to get real bad. They kept mumbling something and got back in the truck.

Now dont get me wrong, I was pretty outgunned that day too, but there were more than a few people watching at this point so I figured nobody was going to make any drastic moves, except for the exit.
