Mark ran an 11.3 at 128mph his first pass. I'll post the video later. Had to leave early. Hope you guys had fun, but that is the last time I'm going out there, and I wasn't even running. Lines are ridiculous.

that ******* sucked. i waited in line for more than 2 hours and never ran. wasted 20 bucks. although i wasnt as pissed as that guy in the orange 2010 camaro. that dude was screaming at the ticket lady wanting his money back.
oh well. ill try again in a week or 2

What does it take for us to rent out a track? I'll pay 100-200 bucks, so I can make 20 passes in a day. I don't want to do that everymonth, but a couple times a year is worth it.

Looking for a new track. I've got a house 30 minutes north of SAR. Lonestar is only open on a very limited number of nights a year for their midnight 1320, whatever. Track prep wasn't great at the 2 events I went to last year. What else is there within 60-90miles of Houston? I've heard of an old airstrip about 30 miles East of Baytown. I forgot the name. Anybody know?

thats not bad at all , so u can get a total of 15 cars and rent it out then ? and they pay 100 each? or it has to be like that every car pays 300? we should have an ls1tech track day and rent that bish out lol

aftet what i saw last night, might not be a bad idea. there was a **** ton of pos trucks there id say close to half of them the body panels didnt match.
3 cars in a row caused them to shut down the track for at least 20 min each. it was horrible

That's a lot of money, but it would be worth it to me, only in Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb when the weather cools down.
What about renting out lonestar?

is that what happened? i wasn't racing but i was in the pits and noticed that everything just about stopped for a while. i left a little after 9 and there was still a long *** line to get in. i knew whoever was getting there that late wasn't going to get a run in cause the lanes were already full.

oh yea. i didnt see it but a 2nd gen camaro drug the bumper for about 100 ft, came down and blew fluids everywhere. after they got that cleaned up the car behind him, a dragster, blew oil all the way down the track. then after they cleaned that one up, the car behind the dragster got a little ways out and got squirly. rolled it a couple of times. at that point i said **** it and took the $20 hit and went home
