Machine Shops in / around Houston So I snapped my ARP crank bolt off in my crank and need some good machine shops around Houston. I have talked with LME (one of the sponsors) but just wanted to see what else is out there as well just to compare. \
Right now I'm pricing what it would be to take my short block in and get a new crank and all the machine work done for that or possibly a forged bottom end.

that's actually who i've been talking too. i was just looking into what other shops were offering but it seems like LME is the only place that wants business. all the others have email address or don't call back.
Other shops on here like LME,LMR, etc.. are all great shops don't get me wrong.

It's hard to get a hold of erik at HKE reason is that there very busy up there and there is a reason there so busy......

i'm sure they wouldn't be a sponsor if they weren't great shops; i was mostly just looking to see what other places were offering. i'm also looking for the least amount of down-time and i think LME is the best choice at this point.
