Tillery are you a roughneck on the oil rigs ?
You have those Texas alligator fingers. LOL
Here is some of what I saw when I drove by on the I-20.

Here's a link about George W. Bush's childhood home.

I must admit I didn't know about the UTPB.
I'm glad I decided to take the I-20 on the way back instead of the I-10.
I'm also glad I posted this thread.

You too Bearcatt? I as well have been thinking about this, if I could find a job that paid enough for me to move I would definitely do it, I may do so in a couple years I am going back to school now and when I am done I will probably head out East. California is becoming less and less my cup of tea if you will.

I hear you bro, sometimes a change is good for the soul.
I also understand that packing it up and making the big move is a major
event in life. It's better to take your time, get your education in there and when you have made a solid decision, go for it. I've been taking my time and seeing various places, life is an adventure, you live once. I've been slowly working on the house, maybe someday if I get the right price then I will start my new chapter in life.
As much as I like Texas, I also like Michigan, you can do whatever you want with your car

As you mentioned about California, I will agree that the cup of isn't so sweet anymore. My biggest concern is the massive deficit with no plan for a new fiscal 2011 budget.

kokingSS,
As I passed through the DFW my pass through Arlington was very fast.
I didn't even know about the new Dallas Cowboy stadium.
Wow! Here's a website about it.
http://stadium.dallascowboys.com/
Apparently there is many things I didn't know about Texas but I've learned quite a bit by posting this thread. I'm sure there is more to learn.
I wish I could get back there right now but the shackles of life and responsibity have me ... well ... here.
