I remember those, badass bikes. I was poor at the time and settled for a diamondback viper xl. I still have my 1978 Mongoose Motomag with the original redline nickel forks and flatblack handle bars, along with the real magneisum mag wheels.

I had an aluminum Robinson and a Chromoly Elf. The elf was just as light as the Robinson though. My buddy had a PK ripper. LOL
Brings back good old memories from 15 years ago. I threw both of my bike in the trash a couple of years ago because all they did was get in the way. I tried to give them to some kids and they didn't want them. LOL If only they knew what they were getting. I raced both of those bikes for 3 years.

I just picked up a SE Quadangle Looptail F&F to build on.I just love the way the frame looks and always wanted one. Sitting on the dinner table now like modern art. My wife digs it so it stays there till I put wheels etc on it. I used to have a really early GT. It must have been 83 ish. It was stolen yrs ago.
You guys seen Joe Kid on a Stingray yet? It is a must see if you haven't seen it yet.

I know this thread is quite old. But I have the Blue and White one New in Box My dad bought 3 when I was a kid, I rode one to death, he sold one, and put one away. He just recently passed away and I made sure to get the bike.

I dont remember the name of the bike but the one I had was lime green and it said Freedom III on it. That thing could go anywhere and jump everything. I remember riding half-pipe with it all the time. Does anyone know who made it? I guess I was about 10-12 with it until the weld split at the fork support tube. I crashed so freaking hard it knocked me out. Wish they had camera phones back then!!! LOL
