Why bigger? A 228r cam is perfect. Anytime you go with a bigger cam it hurts the valvetrain have to change springs frequently plus it dosnt has as good as drivability like a smaller cam would have. Big cam cars don't make the power down low they make it up high so that means you have to spin the motor so High to make power. Yea dyno numbers may look prettier with a bigger cam but it's where it makes the power at what maters. I say 228r and mil stock heads or get 243 or aftermarket heads.. Better drivability, it will pull harder down low, you will still make good numbers cam only and 228 chops like a ****

so i got a question.. my bro bought a 99 corvette with H/C/I and it has a dual plated clutch.. and it makes this raddle noise when you hold the clutch in.. but it dont do it no more when the clutch is out... Any ideas?
