World cup= Joke I was just watching the news, and there's still no reason to as why we were robbed of a victory last week.. Now they are saying they wont even bother to make one up. lol
They wonder why no one here cares for the sport. An umpire made a HUGE mistake in baseball recently and came straight forward and said just how sorry he was. In this case we're dealing with a league run by cowards, and that's just not very american at all. Sadly I could give a rats *** about soccer, but when our team losses because some jackass blows a call like that.... It just pisses me off.

usa was down 2-0 at the half in fridays game, we tied it up 2-2 and then we (usa) scored a goal in a penalty kick.... but it was taken away from the ref on a bogus call, thus ruining are big come back and the game ended in a 2-2 tie

Bad calls happen ALL the time in ANY sport. We see it all the time in American Football where they do the replay crap over and over and still keep it as a bad call. The whole USA getting screwed became a big deal because it is the World Cup and its USA getting screwed not like its NFL and the Cowgirls get a bad call on a running play.

That ref was a total douche. Owell the f'ed up part was that two of the guys where being held literally by the waist and that was failed to be called also. All this in clear site of the same ref, I thought it was quite comical as the USA coach's son is one the players and he is actually good and had to be refrained towards the end of the game.
I'm not a fan of soccer but i will watch -england,usa, brazil, and mexico during the world cup.

It was a crappy call for sure. Later an interview with a representative of the FIFA commented that Africa had experienced officials but they were are all third class officials. Makes you wonder why they even allowed third class officials to participate in a first class event.
