Default Driving down the street and....
i see a bunch of smoke everywhere.... at this point there isnt any knocking or anything... well long story short i get home check under the car and i dont have the speedo gear housing on my th350 now im in need of this part anyone know where i can find one today let me know asap

the dealer sells them for pretty cheap, about $10-15. You need to know how many teeth are on the gear as the shaft size is different depending on the # of teeth.

well i rigged it since i dont use it i put a freeze plug in it....

it works just drove down to arlington to test drive it and back... i dont have a use for it since its a th350 in a ls1...... so tapped a freeze plug in and it works just fine! nothing to get worried about if its doing its job

Nothing wrong with putting a freeze plug in it. There is less of pressure on it than the cooling system and it won't ever rust from the inside.
