ls1howto.com it only takes 45 min on the first one you dont know what your doing, the second one is easier than that, 50 bucks each from autozone for the motors, the dealership wanted 400 bucks for parts and install per door!

Im in Plano i can get them done for you, done hundred's of these motors. i use Dormans or Oreily's Premiums. and I rivet them not put shitty bolts that just rattle out in 10k miles. $75 a door + parts

Just drill 3 holes, exposing the motor bolts and swap it out.

Good price. Although I prefer screws over rivets in the event you have to replace it again in the future. My window with screws took 10 mins, the rivets 2hrs. Just my .02

The small bolts that I have used on replacement motors came with serrated lock washers on the nuts. Have not had any back out.

Have installed a couple Siemens VDO motors and a couple Dormans.

Obviously you just didnt have the right tools. i can get both doors done with drilling the holes and riveting them in under 30 minutes and when you have to change them again you grab your drill and take 1.5 seconds of drilling and no more rivet..
