For the iPhone people.....
Isnt AT&T's exclusivity contract with Apple up soon? early 2011 I think? I ready to give AT&T the finger and go with another company...I have the 3GS, and really like it, especiallly the live tv app, live radar, radio. But Im so sick and tired of paying AT&T so much, Im not gonna get the new Iphone4 just so I dont get locked in for another 2 years. HTC Evo I havent really looked into it but sounds reasonable. But the whole HTC vs IPhone argument is like saying sure the Z06 Vette is fast and more affordable but if you had the money to spare, why wouldnt you go with the Ferrari...(that doesnt make sense but you get the point)
Question for you Sprint HTC EVO 4G guys, how is your service with the 4G? I have read some reviews and a lot of people are having issue connecting and some can't even get the service at all, even though they are in the "coverage area." How is the battery life for you? I have heard it is a lot better if you just turn 4G off, but that is one of the main points of that phone, the 4G, and people in the "coverage area" are having issues connecting and if you leave that enabled, it drains battery QUICK!
My AT&T service is horrible. Since iOS4 has come, I have dropped more calls than ever, and I don't even have the iPhone 4. Luckily, it won't cost me squat to break the contract and possibly switch to Sprint. The battery and 4G services are the only thing holding me back, PLUS the U.I. would be a bit of a change to have to get used to.

You just need to make sure it is covered in your area, they even state this in the product. Works fine here in Austin. You have to pay 10 bucks extra a month for it, but it's pretty nice having the tether feature with my laptop. Well worth the 10 bucks exra.
Most of the people that bitch are the ones that have to pay the 10 bucks and don't have 4g available. It is all ran by Clear, so their availability = Sprint 4g.
