One of the first phone calls I ever got @ G-Force was a guy who said he had a 900hp LS1. I asked him what he did to get to 900hp and he told me he bought the 300hp heads, 300hp cam, and the 300hp manifold.

This thread reminds me of that phone call.

That makes no sense. It should be AT LEAST 1200hp with a 350hp engine
