Hey, I'm a Doctor of Physical Therapy student. Good luck with your rehab! As you probably already know they don't want you even lifting that shoulder (unless your other arm is helping) for a month to 6wks. I have rehabbed quite a few shoulders since I'm doing internships now. Just take it easy and don't expect too much too quick. The worse thing you can do is use it too much too quick. Tendons have decent blood supply but it's not great so it will be 6-9 months before it's completely healed. Hope you enjoy having the PT stretch your shoulder! That sucks and I hate doing it to people but you gotta do what you gotta do!

Automatic ice pump for my shoulder... BEST invention ever... EVER!!!! Oh... and pain meds!

I just had back surgery about 5 months ago. As mentioned before, surgery sucks. By far the most painful experience of my entire life. And now I'm hooked on vicodin, but trying to taper down and off of it. Takes about a year to completely heal up after a major surgery. Good luck..
