I worked up a little for the gear ratio change to 4.11 in both cars to show the acc dif and how much of n advantage the camaro will have from a simple swap.
Here is the mustang


notice a 10.2% change in accl.
Here is the camaro


Notice a 19.1% change in accl.
I know the tire sizes are not right but that wont make a difference on the %. The % will also be the same w/ whatever gear ratio you choose 4.10, 4.11 doesn't matter.

Sure, you can probably go further with a Camaro (LS3 based stroker motor), but that's not too cheap.
