where are you going to sell a vert/vette for 22k?
you can pick up a 2002-04 Z06 for 22k with the same miles
22k w/ higher miles tho(in houston).... ive seen lower miles for the same price
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevr...mZ400134239968
my point is that... unfortunately i dont think you will get 22k for a vert, but if you can, why not just go straight across and break even on a z06... or save a couple grand and get a z06?

If you can get that much for the vette then sell it quickly. You can go over to ls1gto.com and buy a well cared for FI GTO putting down over 600rwhp for less then that. The GTO has its short comings though. Suspension, unless upgrade...next to no trunk and some others. Most of these issues are addressed by the car enthusiast who loves their car. These are tough times, many low mileaged modded GTOs are being sold for great prices that were not beat the **** out of.
Got to love 4 seater with vette power. If weight is an issue you can always take things out. Mine is down to 3300lbs without me in it.

$22k for a plain C5 vert, in this economy? ****..... Keep the Vette. They say that the 1st and last year of the car will be worth the most. If you have low miles on the Vette, it could be worth more than the Goat down the road. But if you drive the **** out of it, never mind.

As a black vette owner you don't want to own a black vette. I just picked up a TBSS a few months back and it's nice to be able to see over other cars rather than just guess.

do what you want to do, only you can make that choice, hell, im a gto owner, and id personally say keep the vette, unless you are looking to carry more then 1 passenger. get heads/cam and your vette will pass gtos.
