All the cars in the final eight were faster than I last night. Circumstance plays a large roll in making the finals in this kind of racing, not consistant ET on the clock. I stick to my thought if I had been on my slicks with the bottle hooked up I would likely had made it further against the faster cars and hope to get the nitrous tune done in time to get back up there with slicks on and try again, it's all fun.
I still have your Drag-N-Brag video saved on my hard drive and was sorry to hear you sold your car !!

Was this the final?

Yes, I was on motor out there and that was Billy's old car that I ran in the final(it put down 650+rwhp on both stages).
I miss my old car, but yet I dont.

This is what I have now instead, so it feels the void for the time being...

Hope you get things working on your combo and good luck!
Yes, my old car ran 6.4-6.5's on motor, but the new owner has made some changes since then.

Black2001Z06: Great looking Z06. I'm already changing some things on my setup to get some more RWHP and going to tune for the nitrous soon. 6.4-6.5 is pretty fast for n/a, do you recall your raceweight?

1 Fast GTO: they have helmets you may us there for $10

99CamVanillatop: yes it's an 1/8th mile run

Thank you.
You are changing that intake, aren’t you?
My old car did 535/500 through an auto and I am not sure about the weight, as I never weighed it.
It had tubular everything, but still retained full interior.
A buddy on here ran 6.0/6.1’s NA with his 427ci in a red formula(then again, he does work for GM).
Now that car really impressed the heck out of me!

No, the Super Victor stays, I'm going to sell the Fast 92mm throttle body and the Edelbrock low profile elbow and replace with an Accufab 4-barrel throttlebody w/o a bonnet, just run hosery. Should be good for up to an additional 40 rwhp. My car empty weighs 3620 or 3860 with my tall *** in it !!

That is what I meant...the elbow.
Not many people like the results or should I say lack of results with having one.
Hope to see it out and about soon.

I really doubt that Hutto, my car was never gutted and I'm 250lbs.

Justin...This car is a 4l80e car...16 quarts of fluid to fill that bitch. Midwest 9", It has AC. Biggest griffin radiator we could buy and fit in the semi stock location, No bumper supports removed, 6 way leather seats, and all rear seats and belts in tact, fog lights in place. Sub, amp, no trimmed wiring harnesses, metal gas tank with sump from a 98 car, factory carpet...The list goes on. Ive seen your car. I built his. Yes, Jay's has some tubular components but not enough to make a difference to make up for things that had to be kept on the car. Easily your car is 250 lighter. 16 quarts of fluid for parasitic loss kinda sucks. Hopefully the intake restriction will bring some more power to the table like I think it will. If we could lose the overdrive setup for a 2 speed, I already know the car would easily break 600 at the wheels with a TB on top NA.

It sounds like a very nice car and I know you are proud of it.
I agree changing to a 4500TB or 4150TB should help out quite a bit.
Might as well throw a glide in it and see what it does too.
I know my car ran like **** on motor whenever I put a glide in it though.
I drove it right back home and put my TH-400 back in immediately.
Good luck to you both, I would like to see it run very good out at the Dale and in Mexico(DFWSS).
White TA's/Formula's FTW!!!

no, just an initial trace in the driver side head. none has reappeared so we're assuming the builders statement of minor break-in wear to be correct, and the oil filter had none. I'm happy and thanks for inquiring
