I made it out to Sonic for the first time last night. Definitely a lot of cars out and it was nice to meet some folks.
Mine was the silver C5 with the conspicuous chirping noise coming from under the hood. Come say hi next time if you see me there. My name is Kevin.

Ah. Yeah, I knew the C6 had a clear weight advantage. My Procharged car has a D1SC and the 4.5 intercoolers. The LS3 is a jewel, but I'd like to think it would take more than a cam and some bolt ons to hang with my Pewter car. It recently put down 546 to the tires on a loaded dyno with ambient shop temp at 97* 
Good luck on the rematch and make sure you get him to go from a roll where you can be at a good RPM in 2nd gear.
EDIT: It makes more than your 486, with just a cam? Damn! I need an LS3.
