What kind of fuel economy are you mild-bolt-on auto LS1 F-bodies seeing?

02 SS Bone Stock with 3.23 gears got 18-19 in town and 23-24 on highway.
After bolt-ons and tune 17-18 in town and 23-25 on highway. The light usually goes off at about 240 miles on a tank but I can push it to 260 or 270 on mostly town driving. It does alot better on the highway. It would probably be better if I kept my foot out of it but who can drive a 02 SS a full tank of fuel without gettin on her a few times. I cant do it.

I got bolt ons, street tune, and 3200 stall on my daily driver and my last fill up was about 16.x mpg. I can get 15-17 with mixed driving with alittle highway alittle stop and go traffic and alittle WOT go pedal time. It used to get much more than that before the mods. I think my o2's may be bad. When I first got the car I swear it was doing 25mpg mixed. Then it started to do only 20 or so. Then the exhaust/intake mods came and stayed around 18-21 depending on how much highway i did. The converter really dropped the mileage.

Thats funny that you brought this up because I just did the whole MPG test on my T/A and was so dissapointed. I only got about 200 miles to my completely full tank. Divide that by the 12 gallons and its 16.66 ... I guess I was only shocked because I usually DD my civic but its getting fixed and I had to DD the T/A. I wasn't sure if this number was very good because I have seen the gap of ppl who get 20+ to us who are between 15 - 17. I plan on doing a complete tuneup though to see if it helps. I think im going to do the whole sea foam, change the plugs, fuel filter, oil, maybe change out transmissiom fluid etc .. and hopefully see a change!!

I just finished another tank ... this time I was on it a little here and there and only could push out 175 miles to the tank. Bah .. that brings me down to about 14.58. Tuneup here we come!

Of course you milage is bad if you're setting in your car idling with the ac running 5 days/week. My milage dropped considerably just from the difference in Tulsa traffic and Ft. W traffic.
I read about replacing cats, seafoaming, new plugs, replacing the fuel pump, and fuel filter in a quest for improved milage. But how old are your O2's? Other than a tune up and fresh filter, look there next.
