Nahhh - That's not that much. Hell, my fraternity boys and I back in the day would put down 4 at a party and we only had 30 guys. Back when I was in school at A&M my brothers and I went to a party once that had over 30 kegs floated before 1AM. Man those were the days, but can't remember em much - LOL.

i'm also guessing at this said party there was probably a 100 guys and 500 girls... maybe a bit off, but those are normally the frat party numbers so 30 kegs isn't that big a deal.

OMG - not 30 guys for the 30 kegs. Man that is a lot. I meant we regularly put down 4-5 kegs with just us but the largest keg party I went to was with a bunch of peope. Probably around 2-300 people and 30+ kegs. Before they banned drinking games in IFC (interfraternity council) events my frat boys and I won the keg relay race and floated a keg with 8 guys in 15 mins. Now that was some speed drinking. Damn, I couldn't do that today if I wanted to.

For 30 people I'd say 1-2 kegs and if you want more get 2 kegs plus several 24 packs of budlight. Trust me that third one won't get finished and there is nothing worse you can have then a half finished keg if you don't have a kegaraider to keep it alive in.

if it's just your average joe, esp if girls are there 2 kegs won't float.
but that being said better to have more then enough. I'd either get 2 or have easy access to getting a second, or plan on buying beer.
30 people will float one keg, it's that second one... also depends on how much booze is there, how long it lasts, etc etc....

another thing is if you invite 30, more will show and so 2 kegs would be wise... do you have a for sure place to have it where it won't get shut down by the cops?

Yup heron pearland last party went on till 6 am with the dj Wich is my friend jamming on so I'm getting 2 kegs and 6 cases of 24 pack budlight and corona
