I too have used CL for many years and finally got scammed big time. I sold my caprice to an African American family. Had been on the phone with em all day, took em on a test drive then sold it to them. They gave me 2 United States Postal Service money orders. They waved by to me and my family as we did them.
Minutes later, I'm at the post office to cash them and they're fake....what can you do.
It's been 3 months and i still have no idea if I'll ever see that car again. Unfortunatly I only sold the car because I had been laid off and needed the money for my family. This only made things worse

I'd wait to confirm if this guy is a scamming tool or just someone that made a mistake. Give him the benefit of the doubt before raining the wraith of LS1Tech down upon him. Be it known, some members now have resources from beyond the grave to assist with making things right if needed.

Well, it was his IPOD, and it was almost full. He knew damn well what the capacity is. I asked him more than once if it was a 16GB. The second time when I said I was looking for a 16 because I needed the size, he said, "yeah, 8 just isn't enough, blah blah blah." That was in the parking lot before I gave him the money. He was definitely tech-savvy, too. This was a deliberate deception.

Oh, I forgot as he was showing me the video function, I turned it on in the parking lot and got a quick glimpse of him. lol. I just saw the clip as I was fumbling around in the IPOD just now.

Post ad for free Xbox360 with his number. It will be a living hell for him. You have to do it a certain way though. Make a .jpeg of a picture that has a 360 with his phone number. That way the douche can't search directly for the ad. Just call the title "Free stuff". Make sure you post it in a different state. Major city. IE Chicago, Boston, NY, San Francisco. The poorer the better.
