It sucks, but **** happens. Don't sweat the small stuff right? I just wish it would have been for speeding or something cooler / legitimate .

I might just do defensive driving if it will 100% stay off of my record and not take time away from work.

It's extra motivation to get out of the rice rocket and into something a little more refined that attracts less attention.

yeah but with that new houston law you have to be there at 8am, and the cops do not have to show up till 1... so it takes all flipping day

I think the law states that your signal has to be on for 100 ft before changing lanes/turning.

So even if your blinker went on for one click, you could still get a ticket.

I may be wrong, but I remember hearing that.

I flashed the signal once
The law states that the singal must be flashing before u change lanes, while and during the lane change and once ur cleared the lane and are actually in the lane, can the signal stop flashing/signaliing. once or one flash is not enough.

Ok, I got the same ticket. Let me guess its called failure to change lanes giving proper signal or something like that. There is actually a state law that states, one vehicle changing lanes will be required by law to signal a lane change for at least 100 feet before overtaking the lane. Its a bs law but it is real.
