Help with A/C - DFW

My SUV's A/C was working fine one day and the next day it just started blowing hot air. I hope it has a small leak somewhere and just needs refrigerant. Anyone who can hook it up at a GM dealership or shop? Last person to help me out with A/C was Meza T/A but I don't have his number and haven't seen him post up in a while.

Oh and my SUV is pretty much the same thing as a Trailblazer SS.

By "hook up" I mean someone that can do it on the side for some cash, not for free.

Do you have time to check some basic parts on your own? It sounds like the blower fan is working fine.

A part that does go out is the motor on the hot/cold divider (can't think of the official name). If your dehumidifier up front works but the vents only blow hot, I would bet $2 on the trap door being stuck venting hot air.

The metal canister looking thing doesnt get cold like it used to. It just stays hot.

Must have a leak somewhere I bet. If you buy several cans of R134A I can charge it, I dont have a machine to check for a leak, but if you charge it it may be good for a quite a while.

Don't use the OTC stuff that also seals leaks, it supposedly damages the compressor.

I've used the regular stuff that doesn't seal leaks. You can also buy a crappy UV leak test at vato zone.
