Midnight Madness /True Street Challenge Sat. Sept. 18th.!

Come one, come all! Its Midnight Madness once again this Sept 18th. at San Antonio Raceway. Midnight Madness drags is now in its 5th year of operation and is considered the largest street legal gathering in Texas.

San Antonio Raceway is doing great and has lots of new things going on so make sure you come out and be part of it all. Last month Rocky Racoon, our mascot made his return after a long 4 year lay off and rumors are he may be back again for this Midnight Madness.

Think you have a bad Streetcar? Then bring it on out this Midnight Madness drags where we will once again be hosting the True Street Challenge race open to any and all door cars that are street legal registered and inspected. This month we will be making some changes to the format to make it more interesting.

Once again we will split the True Street challenge into 2 classes. 11.50 and slower and 11.49 and quicker. Last month both Mr. and Mrs. Verrips were able to win their classes. So far it looks like Tony Strong from Midland was the only one who has been able to hold off Dan "The Man" Will he show again? We will see! We look forward to seeing a great turn out Saturday Sept. 18th. at the Midnight Madness drags. This month we do expect a lot more to show up so be there early.

Sept 18th will also have all the Warrior classes, grudge races, battle of the sexes and some exhibition passes. You just never know who will be showing up. Make sure to mark your calendar and don’t miss Texas largest street legal gathering "Midnight Madness". You just never know what might happen so don’t miss it.

San Antonio Raceway is located on IH-10 East exit 597
Gates open at 8pm and we race from 9pm until 2am in the morning.
$10 to watch and $15.00 to race. See you there!

Thanks again to all who support Midnight Madness throughout the years.

True Street racers if you think you got what it takes here is your chance!

We will now be doing a brand new challenge with hopes that more cars can make it in.
This month we will start a new procedure and get everyone to meet at the track then tech all vehicle in for their class and then send them off on a cruise to a designated area to pick up a slip that will prove you were there. The cars will have their hoods taped just to prove that they have not been opened on the cruise. Once everyone is back we will then go to eliminations in each class. This is something new and hopefully more exciting for all to help increase car counts in these classes. The fee to race this class will only be a additional $10.00

Winner in the quick class will receive $300 and winner of the modified class will win $200

Any car or truck can participate.

Must be registered and inspected.

Must be on any DOT Tires. Can not change tires at anytime

Must make the cruise from track to designated area without opening the hood.

All cars will be allowed to cool off after the cruise and allow time to refuel, change bottles or whatever is needed but the hood can not be opened up at anytime.

Names will be drawn out of a hat in order to make it a luck of the draw elimination.

If anyone has any questions please feel free to call Freddy @ 210-849-3225.
