uncle works on these bad boys and he has yet given me a "bad" story about them hes been in the service for 25 years.

me too. my fav part " in the real world, the audi is faster". dont think he realizes that most people dont engage in corner carving twisty turny races in "the real world". youre far more likely to race someone on the highway or at a stoplight than coming across a randomly placed assortment of parking cones that somehow resembles a track..unless you autocross, but then again, thats not the real world

then again he's from europe and they have less straights than we do. maybe they race down mountains afterall, but i thought only the japanese did that

 

I bet if that ZR1 is a '10+ then most people would be able to outrun the Audi if they leave PTM on. Actually that is exactly what I thought when I watched that episode of Top Gear when it came out.

 

what also gets me is that clarkson is garbage on a road course(for the most part) and everytime he "tests" a super car...he just plays tokyo drift on the airport test track and sees how much tire smoke he can make. to me he's just a comedian that drives fast cars, and the stig is the one that actually TESTS these cars.

i will give it to him for driving the **** out of that red zr1 on the salt flats, that was pretty bad ***. but even so that involved no turning...and then he makes fun of americans for not knowing how to make a car corner.
