None of which bring in nearly as much revenue to the conference as TCU football could. Im not a TCU or big 12 fan but i think your reasoning is way off on why they dont want TCU. TCU scares teams, namely big money teams who want the easiest route to a bowl game. No one wants to play TCU for there N.C.G. because no one wants to risk there BCS bids by playing them. Ask Oregon State. It has always been about the money.
It doesn't all come around revenue. Yeah it is a lot of it, but not all of it. They also want to see the entire school picture...
Look it up..

one thing is that Texas owns the market and does not want another school to dilute the field/market.
TCU brings no additional revenue or market share. The Northern schools do not want to be further marginalized by a school likely to vote with the southern teams.
TCU just started getting good and bringing in some more revenue.

Easiest route to a bowl game? So you're telling me big 12 teams want the easy way out so they don't play TCU. I'm guessing you also think that SEC Schools don't want to play TCU b/c they might get knocked out of their BCS chances since both conferences have easy machups every week. Plus you listed a team that is 1-2 whom barely beat Louisville, at home. TCU is brought up every year. Last year they could have proved it and were routed by Boise. Please tell me you weren't considering Oregon State to make a BCS bowl this year.
Are you seriously trying to compare a SEC conference schedule of say Bama to UT? Bama plays 6 top 25 opponents this year. do they need to schedule a ranked Non-conference team to gain S.O.S. points? no.... texas on the other hand will play 2. Not exactly the toughest schedule out there, which is standard for most big 12 teams.
Last years game between BSU and TCU was a lose lose situation for both schools. everyone knows that.
IT IS ALWAYS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY.... WHICH IS ALSO THE REASON TEXAS DIDNT GO PAC-10.....

Got it in quotes for ya. Guess you forgot Oregon State was the underdog.
Why shouldn't you consider Bama, TCU declares that they should be in the national championship game.
Plus I don't remember mentioning anything about UT's schedule. I refered to the Big 12 in general, which will have more schools in the top 25 towards mid season. Happens every year.

You are so right, I obviously stated OSU was going to a BCS bowl this year.... Every schools goal is a BCS bowl genius. Do you really think OSU got together and said hey, you know what, we dont want a BCS bowl this year, lets play TCU and lose. Every big competitive school will try to mold there NCS to get them a decent SOS (if there conference is weaker) yet allows them the greatest chance of winning. Do you know anything about football scheduling?
Bama doesnt need to prove anything in NCS since there conference schedule, much like the entire SEC's schedules are loaded with top 25 games.
Teams in the Big 12 ride the coat tails of what the conference once was and as long as they dont lose they get a championship shot. the big 12 is normally a 2 horse race every year UT and OU. Any year the SEC is 4-6 teams deep with the opportunity to run the table.
middle of the year rankings dont mean ****...
