I'll check the oil more closely and cut the filter. The first time i pulled the stick i found a small shaving and one side of the stick was regular and the other side was muddy looking. Then the next 2 or 3 times checking it it was regular looking oil. I'll need to check it better to confirm anything.

ps. Stop turning it on. it's not going to magically fix it self and you have the info/video you need.

Sounds like a valve spring/rocker arm/pushrod might be broken. I had about the same noise a year ago and it turned out to be my rocker arm was broken.

Lots of small silver metal flakes or shavings in the oil and filter...

I'm guessing this means rod bearing or main bearing?

Yes sir!!!!do not ,i repeat do not start it again.....you can rebuild but a crank is expensive and if it throws a rod a block can get more expensive.....
