Unhappy Help with engine noise "Video inside"

Ok Texas section you haven’t failed me yet.. I know a lot of people know what certain things sound like when something is wrong so…. if you wouldn’t mind letting me know that would be great.

This is a friend of mines car.

He thinks by the sounds it could be the things he has listed below.

Thinks it’s a lifter or spun rod bearing, possibly with trans noise?

---------------------

Trying to stop someone from selling their car when it could be something easy to fix.

Is it a auto car? A broken Flexplate sometimes will sound like the world is ending!

Another easy way to see if its the motor. Is to remove the oil filter and carefully cut the top off and see if the filter is full of metal shavings. Any gold flakes means your motor is TOAST.

Oh yea about 5 seconds into the video im screaming turn that SOB off!

Hey guys, unfortunately it's my car that is making the noise. Here is some more backup information:
Cam, pushrods, springs, timing and oil pump installed recently and was running fine. Car was acting a fool at the track this weekend, seemed like trans wasnt shifting or jumping gears and I had no power. On the way home the knock and squeek started up.

The car idles at 40 psi oil pressure, but noticed the needle moving a bit up and down, on the drive home pressure was good. When you first start it up it knocks, and the sounds comes from the top of the engine around the intake manifold or top center of engine. As the RPMs increase the sound becomes a bouncing around rattle noise, like rocks in a can bouncing around randomly...not a steady knock.

Then the squeek comes in hard, it drowns out the sound of the knock. That **** is loud under the car and sound like metal on metal rubbing. When I put my ear to where the bellhousing meets the engine it is the loudest.
Engine probably needs mounts, its shaking around in there with the cam.

Checked the plugs and they looked fine. Checked all exhaust connections and things for a metal squeek and could nto reproduce it. Found a tiny metal shaving in the oil from dipstick and some muddy looking oil the first time i pulled the stick but not the next few times. Found nothing in trans fluid.

Would be a bitch if it was all 3 things wrong with it haha

Could you get a video of it on spray? Might help. j/k

Sounds pretty distinctly like a broken valve spring/rocker arm/pushrod there at the end of the first video.

He just said he found a metal shaving and "muddy oil" which is probably coolant in the oil.
