I was at a forum last week for work (I work in Oil and Gas). They touched on this being in the works. They pointed out that the bug auto manufacturers claim it will cause damage and they might not honor warranties. From what the "experts" at this forum stated they believe gas stations will have pumps with 10% ethanol (or less) and pumps with 15% ethanol.

I would hope this is what happens, but I guess time will tell how this works out.

I love how the EPA keeps doing **** to lower vehicles' gas mileage. Sure. The air is a little cleaner, but we are burning more fuel. They (the EPA) have pretty much fucked the whole diesel community with their requirements of DPF systems on new diesel trucks (since mid-2007).

Everyone please read the story! It has been approved but only for 2001 and newer cars. Also it is not mandatory so station are not forced to sell it.

It already did thanks to the 10% ethanol.

so a rescale on your injector pw or fuel tables may be in order to make sure you A/F is still dead nuts, and then see if she can take a little more timing, then double check your a/f with the revised timing table.

thats the theory tho...i literally dont know if 5% increase is enough to mandate any of that tho, maybe someone with some tuning skills can elaborate.
You would NOT change your IPW table, your actual commanded IPW will go up due to needing more fuel on E15. 5% isnt nearly enough to warrant messing with the tune, if your tune is on "kill" it will need a little adjustment to the VE table but you could probably get away with just scaling it.

Everyone is going to urea which IMO is the much better route anyway but for some reason Dodge is still hanging onto the shitty system.

Is there any Houston gas stations that are not E10? Maybe outside of Harris county? I believe that all the Chevron stations I go to fill-up are E10 (10% ethanol). Anybody know of a "Ethanol Free Zone"? I need the EFZ!!
