Default Clutch problem, Pedal Staying on Floor.

I am having Problems with my 2000 Firehawk. The Clutch pedal keeps going to the floor a staying there. This started last weekend, I have not driven it since. I took it for a short drive this morning and every time I had to stop the peddle would stay all the way Down. The car only has 14,000 miles on it. Any ideas??

What clutch is it? Might want to check the master cylinder. It may be going bad.

Check to make sure your bleeder valve isn't leaking. Sounds like the pressure is gone.

Most likely the master cylinder is going bad. But, it could also be the slave cylinder, which is harder to remove (have to take out transmission).

Think about this, if the slave would have failed you should see fluid loss and a leak on the ground. There is no way that a slave leaks by internally. It will leak around the piston and straight out on the ground. More than likely you have a master that is bad. Master cylinders will leak by internally and have little or no reistance when depressed. Usually will just go down and stick to the floor or barely come back up at all. Good luck

If the pedal is sticking to the floor, its usually the master cylinder. If a clutch is bad, you wont move.
