Underground went 239 for the black car, and 243 for the orange car. Not as many cars over 200 today as last Saturday in March, but I could be wrong. Wind was whipping, then would die down, then pick up again. The 1500hp BaddGT(ford GT) did some damage and did not make a solid run(250 in Florida). Not sure on the other big players. We sat next to LPE, and they didn't make any big runs that we saw.

these supercars are something else...i know he had a cage in that car but for him to be ok is great...i also saw a ford gt that took out a couple big trees on a different thread on another forum and the driver walked away(happened in california[i think] on something totally not related to the texas mile)...

Seems like there were a lot more wrecks compared to other years..
Crazy that car stayed together but you get what you pay for, that's what a lot of people forget about super cars and think they are your Joe blow import with a mean motor and suspension..

Heard Micah's TT Cobra went 205+mph.Still waiting on an offical number but know anything 200+mph is SICK for a streetcar.
Dont know if Blaine's Lightning has gotten a full clean run yet.

Event was really fun yesterday! Richard (the owner of the Lambo) is use to fast cars and bikes. He raced some type of pro stock style bikes and cars years ago. This why when it spun out last year he didn't freak out even though it was his first time driving. When Tommy came back (SW was still down there) he said Richard was talking and within 30min they had him on a 4wheeler headed back to the UGR trailer. He is a very very lucky man indeed.
As far as the jokes about the wing. The word from the owner of the car (SW) is that the car had never felt that stable at those speeds even with a 20mph headwind. Guess it goes to show you their engineering > 95% of LS1Tech theorist...
Wish it wasn't so windy as it just made for crappy conditions!
