ive never ate at freebirds before but with yall talking about it so much i had to google it on my phone and theres some here in austin so i will have to make a stop by there sometime to check it out and see what all the hype is about

I told the GF that Chipotle is owned by McD, it is not beef barbacoa...

We now refer to Chipotle as Chipoodle

They are all wankster burritos. Go to a Taqueria and get some real burritos. Something that actually involves a hand made tortilla not one that comes out a plastic bag and is pressed on a flat iron. Those places are basically fancier Taco Bells haha.

Just tried freebirds......the one near me is run by a buncha hippy tattoed kids. Food wasnt that bad, def not true mexican food.

I love taqueria on occassion...however; gotta disagree on them making better burritos than Freebirds..Freebirds beef is grass fed (not pent up grain fed animals), excellent fresh ingredients and they do make their own tortillas, but it is by machine, not hand...You really roll the dice quality ingredient wise when you go to a Taqueria, its better to go blitzed when you don't care and are hungry as hell..

LOL, you went to the one on Braker right? (this is elementaltoad/Sean, you met me at the Domain)

We usually run down there a lot for lunch, everyone of them are tatted up, pretty laid back place though, unless you decide to go for lunch around noon on a friday!

You guys need to stop going for fast food burritos and find a hole in the wall place. One that they make their own everything, they don't clean the bathrooms, and you just know They don't wash their hands. Real burritos FTW!

I love the hell outta chipotle, I had freebirds once and completely hated it!
Seems like everyone near houston likes freebirds and more people in dfw like chipotle....?
