Default Intake porting questions!!!!

Damn that was fucked up lol ill try this again i just got a ifone lol. I didnt no this was thay messed up lol. I have a 96 camaro z28 lt1 i dont no much bout motor other than has rr r.cam and r.lifters i tore down the frony of motor to change opti and found oil leak coming out on back side of intake win i took inake off i seen that the heads wer ported and polished but intake was not i was justing wanting to no would it be advisble to have port and polished to or leave it alone would it be a difference if i did i dont no the spects of heads and the other question was is a stock fuel rail ported and polishable so bout the last fucked up thread that was really messed up.

We need details like the type of intake in question, that would be very helpful. If the intake is an LS6 intake, then leave it alone. If you in fact have a fast that is un-ported, then there are gains to be had from porting.

how do you port a fuel rail? that sounds really hard to do on a stock one.

If he took it off to fix an oil leak, I'd bet it's an LT1. More information is needed from the OP.
