The impressive part for me is that you can do THIS on 87 octane.... My wallet would be fatter if the TBSS would perform on 87. Don't get me wrong... I love that GM kept w/ the LS motors, went bankrupt somewhere along the way, and yet still delivered performance engines throughout the years. I've always hated the 4.6/5.4 mod motors. I had a 90 LX 5.0 before the TBSS.
Summary of link from Livernois Motorsports:

10-The last pass it went 12.78 @ 111 mph with a 1.9X 60’
With bolt-ons, 4.10's, and 93 octane (tuned):
Best ET 11.61 @ 118.79 mph (19xx DA?)
You don't have to like Ferd, but you can't say that's not impressive.

Here is Maddox. He ran 11.88 two weeks ago, and 11.99 and 12.00 tonight. 93 gas and tires. Sorry for the shakey camera and poor quality.

maybe i'm just a neanderthal, but i like lots of cubic inches, push rods, and only one cam to worry about. all those cams with their magic joo joo are too scary and wonderous for my primitive brain to handle.
