I wouldn't waste it by running from the cops. I'd plow through all the idiots in my way on my morning commute.

Not possible in an armored car. I work for an armored car company, and these trucks are stupid slow. I guess you could just keep going till you ran out of gas..

i have that feeling every day, if i was driving ANYTHING but my T/A, i think i would seriously hurt someone... DFW is surrounded by retarded, uncoordinated or just plain rude drivers... i ****** hate them all... i sometimes imagine myself in an 80s model 4x4 lifted suburban with 1/8" steel plates, crash bars and open headers, driving through downtown traffic pinballing down the freeway specifically targeting people on cell phones, aggressive rice drivers, sissy teenagers and the occasional elderly person... i dont want to kill anyone necessarily. I just want to scare the **** out of them... My wife says i need counseling...

^GTA tends to do that to you. I have also had the urge to run ricers and cell phone using drivers off the road from time to time.

I thought all of the higher dollar ones added performance mods like superchargers and such to make up for it?

Always wanted to be in a police chase, pretty sure it's a fantasy everyone has had.

Give me a twin turbo Ford Raptor with run flats, I think that would do the trick. Speed and offroad capabilities for the win.

Nope, there are a lot of common misconceptions when it comes to this industry.

I work in the armored business as well, wouldn't take long to run out of gas either, as far as corners being cut, I've been told our trucks are bullet resistant

no offense but those things always reminded me of a giant pooper-scooper... theyre built to resist explosive ordinance but i dont know how they fair against big bullets... 25mm would probably make it cry for mamma. I remember sitting inside the Hercules and listening to the rounds bounce "dink dink... dink dink dink..." off the armor.. damn i miss that ****... if i could put on my gear and go kick the **** out of insurgents but come home to my wife every day, I would be in heaven.. a bit off topic but im wondering if the flashbacks im having are a bad thing... they make me giggle a little inside...
