Simple, Nine has posted pics of his cars with nice wheels before, What if the 1st post on the pics of his nice proud new wheels was "Those clouds in the picture looks like hail, better get it inside" or "There is water still left on your wheels better hope that's not hard water" with nothing else after that. Kinda like a negative jab without coming out and saying something direct.

I think you may have spent too much time in the spray booth without a mask on. Seriously. I never said anything negative, I was worried about your wheels getting ruined. Why the hell do I have to compliment you first, then try and help you?
You are reading too much into this, my suggestion was simple and applied directly to the photo. It appears to be inside of a homemade spray booth, and it appears you left the nice wheels on the car, un-taped. Sorry that your shitty description of the pictures didn't clarify that the wheels were to be taped up, so that I would have not made the assumption.
Here is another suggestion WITH a compliment first: Your electron blue choice is nice. Taping the door handles shows your lack of effort and how lazy you probably are. It takes 15 minutes to remove those door handles to paint a car correctly. Why half-*** it and just tape them off? The green tape color looks nice.
Sandgina! Wash it!

In the end "Perfection only belongs to God", If he gets some blue specs of paint on my wheels they will come off with some elbow grease, if he gets some on my tires they will wipe off or if on my tread burn off
U my dear sir seemed to be alot more worried about the paint job or job of the paint job more then me. I hope U notice that most of my respones have been with an air of sarcasm?

This thread delivers for all the wrong reasons.
I do love that car, though, and it should look great once it's done. What other parts are you planning to install once you have it painted (not by you)?

Gotta love ls1tech......
Exactly. Later 2nd gen Z28's had them. There is also a lower single piece spoiler found on the early 2nd gens.
Car is going to look nice. Its similar to the paint scheme I had planned for my 70 SS, except with the factory blue metallic. I'd like to see the end result.

I think the previous owner just used the T/A ends on the spoiler, I kept them cause I like the way the lines flow instead of the Z28 style sudden change in direction going foward instead of following the rear body line....but thats just me
