Why?

Those are the colors of the company. We should be happy that a company is going to take over and hopefully put in measures to improve the facilities to bring it back to the greatness that it once was.

It is not like HRP is getting up and moving anywhere. It is getting renovated and that is something we should all be happy about.

Regardless of who owns it, that track could certainly use a little facelift. One of the most noteable tracks in the US should be kept up a bit better.

This, actually a LOT better. Would like to see showers in the restrooms for when they have those damn 2 day bracket races.

Royal Purple ONLY bought the naming rights same management. There were some updates done like a tower club building and repaved some of the paking lot and RV slots got concrete done so they wont sink. There are many more plans but if ppl dont show up and support the track they have a limited budget IMO...

That's true, but at the same time, people are more likely to go spend money and support an establishment that is well kept and not dated.

HRP could stand to have a chunk of money infused into it, including into their advertising (which is a joke, currently...I remember a couple years ago you could basically drive within miles of it and have no clue that it was around), to get where it needs to be.

As it sits, it appears to be dying. But that's just thoughts of an onlooker of the situation. I remember what the track was like 10-15 years ago, and unfotunately, not much has changed.
