My 228 cam 02 Z06 trapped 123mph and would run dead even with a ported blower 03/04 cobra. stock blower cobras would get walked.

might be a good match for me when i install my pulley.so what do you have in your gto now cause your sig says cammed, fast, boltons 440.

i would like to run your gto now with my stock upper to see where i stand, that way if i get rapped i wont install it and just go straight to a ported blower.u down?

thing that sucks with cobras is that they get heat soacked very fast and kills a lot of power.so running one in the summer is way different than running one in the winter.

Had a lifter explode on me so now its stock cam, everything else the same. I know a handful of cammed ls1's around here. dont know how much longer people are going to be in town though due to the semester ending.

It was in Baytown.it may have been a 2010. But it was the new body style with paper plates. From Baytown ford. The cobra was on the right side of the front grill.which is one of the thing ford did on the 2011's for the CAI. It was blue with white stripes

Ok I see, you probably talking about a shelby, which is way different than a SVT cobra which they stopped making after the 03-04 cobras. Also depending on the year, NOT all shelbys have the supercharger on them, so you may have raced a n/a shelby.

The SVT (special vechicle team) has nothing to do with the newer shelby cobras at all.

Not sure but it did have a supercharger on it.it did have the Shelby GT500 badge's on it. Because the guy ask me after the last run how many Hp I had because. His came with over 540 to the crank. And his car really didn't start pull good till he cleared 4500 rpm. It was good runs everytime tho

my header and intake z06 easily pulled away from bolt on cobras....Cammed z06 and you would get stomped. cammed z06 vs 2.8 cobra and i would still bet on the Z.
