New to El Paso
I just got stationed here from Ft. Lewis. Im looking to find where people hang out, race, and get tuning done. My car will need to be tuned ASAP when it arrives to TX.
About me: I am an 11B20 (Infantry SGT) in the Army, I am from Jacksonville,Fl and I love to race. I hope to see y'all out on the track.

Ive been here at bliss for years, I get all my stuff done in fort worth. I tryed some of these guys here, but to tell you the truth id rather spend gas money and drive elsewhere. If you find someone here youll just be wasting your money.

I was there almost 2yrs (non military). Glad I was able to leave. The only good thing is how close it is to Ruidoso, NM. Expect to run almost a second slower due to the 4,000ft elevation. Try southwestdrags.com it's the local website for racers. El Paso is home of the fart can honda.
And when I was there I drove to SNL to get work done. Most shops tune hondas. I tried calling one place and they said they could tune my car so long as I had hptuners. LOL, gtfo here.

Texas Speed is the closest shop that tunes around EP.
Track is a hell of a lot better now but still needs work. It is a new one(opened in 2008)so give it some time. Not much money for Drag racing out here. Track is owned by a local Sound System guy(Pacific Audio)and he did Sand Drags 1st. It's not bad, just gotta know where to look. EP is screwed because of the "No cruise" zones, thanx Elliot Shapleigh. Lot of Mustangs, imports and while not as much as fbodies they exsist.

Very true. I remember going to cruises when it was on Mesa in my L03(305tbi)Firebird. I had fun back then. Now...it's all about just driving my car and enjoying it with my wife. Too bad some cops just tail you forever, I just laugh and wave.
If anyone ever drops in, shoot me a PM.
