I know you said Houston, but just up the road in Brenham there is a great place to order ammo from. The only thing is you gotta pay tax since we live in Texas. I bought a case of 7.62x54r 440rnds for $100 at the last Reliant gun show. They were gun show and mail order only, but when I passed through Brenham about six weeks ago I saw three billboards that said they were now open to the public.
